The Consultation: Crafting Your Vision
- Punctuality is Key: Please arrive on time. This ensures we have the full dedicated slot to dive deep into your ideas.
- Solo Journey: To maintain a focused and intimate creative atmosphere, we kindly ask that you do not bring companions.
- Mindful Timing: Ensure you have no immediate commitments after our meeting. We want to chat comfortably without feeling rushed.
- Clear Schedule: Please be free of pending tasks or calls during our appointment to avoid interruptions and make the most of our time together.
- Budget & Pricing: Your quote will be provided during this consultation. Don’t worry—I take several factors into account and can adapt the project whether you are prioritizing the art itself or working within a specific budget.
- The Deposit: Have your cash deposit ready to secure your future tattoo date.
- Creative References: References are welcome, but don’t feel pressured if you don’t have any—we can build your concept from scratch.
Your Tattoo Session: The Big Day
- Strict Punctuality: Please arrive exactly on time. Note that there is no grace period, as the schedule is precisely tuned.
- Fuel Your Body: Eat a full, hearty meal before arriving. Bring snacks that provide sustained energy to keep you going during our breaks.
- Dress for the Craft: Wear comfortable, black clothing that you don’t mind getting stained (ink, stencil, or blood happens!).
- Prioritize Comfort: “Comfortable” means loose! Avoid jeans; after a few hours, your body needs to relax. Opt for sweatpants or loose cotton clothing.
- Pre-Session Rest: Get a good night’s sleep. Avoid staying up late or consuming alcohol the night before so you arrive full of energy.
- Open-Ended Schedule: Try not to book immediate plans after your session. Tattoos can involve unforeseen creative shifts, and you will likely feel tired afterward.
- Essentials to Bring: Always bring a large, dark-colored towel (full body size) and a pair of sandals to every session.
Basic Aftercare: Protecting the Art
- The First Wash: As soon as you get home, wash your tattoo with water and neutral soap. Use only your clean hands—never use sponges. Create enough lather to gently remove any excess ink or blood.
- Drying: Pat dry with a disposable paper towel (ideally from a fresh, new pack used only by you).
- The “Dry” Phase: Do not apply any cream or moisturizer until the 3rd or 4th day. Repeat the washing process twice a day.
- Hydration: Starting around day 5, you may begin applying a thin layer of moisturizing cream or balm after washing.
- Personalized Advice: These are basic steps; we will discuss specific care instructions tailored to your piece during our session.
